Dear RAMS Families,

I hope this message finds you well and that you have enjoyed your summer. As the principal of RAMS, I am thrilled to welcome you and your children to the 2025-26 school year. I was born in Bakersfield, Ca and I was a first-generation college student of parents from Michoacán, Mexico. I attended and wrestled at the University of California, Davis and Indiana University, and earned my Masters Degree at Bloomington. I have called Santa Rosa home since 2011. In the past, I have worked at Roseland University Prep, Elsie Allen High School, and Analy High School. I am a hardworking, passionate, caring, motivated individual and I love investing in the lives of kids. This is my third year as Principal of RAMS and I am excited for the connections that I will build with students and parents during the 2025-26 school year. 

This coming, Tuesday, August 5th, we will be hosting our student orientation. I have included the schedule below. I am excited to meet as many of you as possible during this event. Orientation is a wonderful opportunity for us to get to know each other, purchase PE T-Shirt ($15 for the T-shirt), receive your student’s schedule, pick up important documents, and enjoy a snow cone from Kona Ice. We can answer any questions that you may have before we welcome students back to campus on Tuesday, August 12th. If I do not have the chance to meet you during orientation, please know that there will be many other opportunities throughout the school year. I look forward to building connections with all our families and fostering a welcoming, safe, and nurturing school environment. Additionally, I hope to greet you when you drop off and pick up your students in the pick-up line
